Welcome to my site!

I'm Tom, a London-based software engineer (primarily TypeScript/FE) with a very unusual career pathway.

Whether it's my dev job at No 10 Downing Street, coding in Silicon Valley for bed and board, teaching a coding bootcamp at UC Berkeley or surviving the infamous Goldman Sachs internship, it'd be fair to say I've found myself on a peculiar journey.

The devblog is my attempt to document all of the secrets about my profession (and the wider tech industry) that I had to learn the hard way.
